ENTER LAN brings the fifth edition of Fire & Ice to the Protea Hotel Fire & Ice! Cape Town from 7 to 10 August 2026. Four days, 96 seats and 80 hours of non-stop gaming: bring your own computer or console, bring your own snacks, and plug into the scene.
What your LAN pass gets you
Every ticket holder gets two power plugs, a LAN cable, table space and a comfy chair, access to 80 hours of gaming, tournaments and social activities, plus entry into raffles and spot prizes. Gigabit internet is handled by Octotel and UrbanX, the venue is aircon cooled with no loadshedding, and there is a cash bar plus hotel restaurant access.

Friday 7 August
Doors open, bar unlocked, announcements and the MS Paint comp.
Saturday 8 August
Community casual gaming plus the Straftat 2v2.
Sunday 9 August
Community casual tournaments all day.
Monday 10 August
Prize giving, then doors close.
